This blog was started when Isobel June was born on feb 21st weighing in at 7 pounds 8 ounces. She has been diagnosed with spina bifida (an opening in her back to her spine which allowed spinal fluid to drain). We were blessed to add Alexis, who also has spina bifida, to our family through adoption. Though Isobel has danced into heaven, the blog continues as our journey continues and carries her memory on through us, Alexis and Logan.
Isobel did a half hour trial off the vent today and did great!!!! They will continue to try to wean her off the vent. They will try for an hour on Wednesday and increase time off from there. Praise God what a cool birthday gift for her parents :)
